  1. I can’t imagine living such a restricted life. Torturous.

    1. I am sure she lived much in the life of mind and her imagination. I’m only sharing 3 poems from all her works, but there is much beauty and insight in her work about nature and the human condition.

    1. Thanks for your comments. I am only sharing a fraction of her work, but I am so impressed by how she spent her days being productive and creative instead of just falling into total despair.

    1. Thank you for your comment. I find her poetry has helped us remember her and also the life she recognized around her. Hall has some gorgeous poems about spring and other seasons. I love this idea of her poems as gifts to us to bless the world. Thanks for sharing your perspective.

Hi Sher! Just finished listening to the poetry of Hazel Hall. Extremely interesting and masterfully crafted, I would say. I really responded to the imagery of sewing, since I was just doing that day before yesterday – and I used to do it a lot. You pointed out the rhythm of the poem, and I like that way of thinking about it. The poet’s biography certainly sheds light on her work. I look forward to some more poems by her.
