    1. Hello Kim: Thank you for listening and commenting. I wish you a happy belated birthday. We are trapping queens here and have been since February. We have trapped about 60 so far, and the next few weeks should be the highest activity of queens. Each queen would produce 5000 or so workers. As you know it was a warm and dry winter. Perhaps this early trapping will make a difference? Pearl is well– thank you for inquiring.

  6. I A listener from Idaho: I LOVED Ursula Le Guin’s poem, and also her reader!  The poem definitely speaks to me, but in a hopeful and appreciative way, not a regretful way.  Seize the day!  If only we can remember!
