A listener on the Oregon Coast:
As a child spring was “go play outside” and hay fever
As adult, safer travels and lighter clothes
As retired, more days walking
I like how your words convey movements, changes, a roiling burst of energy

Thanks so much for listening and commenting! A nice reflection on childhood versus adulthood and what spring means. It’s strange, but I don’t have strong childhood memories of spring! You have reminded me of this. Perhaps it is because I was in Phoenix, Arizona from 6 – 12 years of age…hmmm…..
