A listener in Texas
The Museum: love that! It’s very clever – a different twist to viewing items used by humans. I find myself trying to imagine the people who used them and I never thought about the items almost as triumphant beings that live on.LikeLike

Thanks for listening and commenting. Yes and Symborska underscores this when at the end of the poem she suggests even her dress wants to live in a museum forever. Through our objects, we live on? Through our objects we seek immortality?

A listener from the Oregon Coast :
I like her clever closing bringing her perspective of her clothes outliving herself in a future museum, or thriftshopLikeLike
