   Very amusing. Our voyeur ways. Inspecting brushes for stands of golden hair. Examining medicine vials for indications of disease or cause of death. Probing chamber pots and broken eye glasses. Imaging. Scrutinizing.
   My mom loved every museum.

      Thanks for your comments. Humans are fascinated by humans yes? I found the end of the poem amusing when Symborska attributes human qualities to her dress as though her dress would like to live forever. I have two more Symborska poems coming–please stay tuned.

   A listener in Texas
   The Museum: love that! It’s very clever – a different twist to viewing items used by humans. I find myself trying to imagine the people who used them and I never thought about the items almost as triumphant beings that live on.

      Thanks for listening and commenting. Yes and Symborska underscores this when at the end of the poem she suggests even her dress wants to live in a museum forever. Through our objects, we live on? Through our objects we seek immortality?
