    “What great imagery in this work – I can see the egrets flying like ribbons and the snakes like hooks. I have looked up pictures of banyan trees in the past because banyan is a very common word in The NY Times spelling bee but I did not know how they grew until I heard this. ” A listener from Colorado

    I’m not familiar with Mary Oliver.

    I like this one particularly, juxtaposing personal and universal.
