  1. Loved this poem and am so glad for the second reading in the Afterward. Doug’s words make the rain, and the moment after the rain, come alive! it’s hard to describe rain in a way that hasn’t been before, but Doug has done that beautifully. Now I have to buy this collection!

    1. Thank you for listening and for your comments. I agree–Doug’s images bring rain alive in a way we can all relate to. I find this idea of a place where the rain is spawned a compelling idea. We will have more of Doug’s poems in the future.
