  1. Memories, yes. My granddaughters found a msg in a bottle on my beach one summer, a little flower poem by a young child, no phone or address. We loved the poem, but we all were a little overwhelmed by the horrible smell coming out of that bottle!

    1. That’s a wonderful story Mary. It made me consider how the stinky and the marvelous sometimes go together. Life is complex–a great example. I’ve never found a message in a bottle…

  2. absolutely sublime. i don’t know bruce but his voice fits the photos i’ve seen and fit this crusty dreamy poem perfectly. and the poem! the thought of stories being stuffed into bottles and distributed randomly is so very whimsical and human being for others who might need reminding to be human. makes me want to start a new hobby with my own stories and poetry. we need each other…desperately.

    1. That’s so neat you thought of the interconnectivity of us all. Yes, by all means start a new hobby with your stories and poetry. Where would you leave your bottles? I’d like to think about answering this question my self…

  4. Bruce was the perfect voice for this poem. Bristly and jagged. I wonder what the messages said.
