Could be titled: This is peace.
Reminds me of the calm peace of childhood when we five kids minded our manners as mother asked.
Suggests to me a world of peace where a missile oxymoronically proudly named “Peacekeeper” is only a fictional prop in a horror flick where men war with men, a fiction nightmare more frightening than a vampire or werewolf.

“I’m a retired Humanities professor, published essayist, poet, painter, singer, and old-time fiddle musician living on an historic two-hundred-acre farm in Eastern Oregon. I plant gardens for pollinators and revel in insects, bird dogs, donkeys, goats, cats, and American fantail and roller pigeons. My lyric landscapes are oak savannah, prairie, and riparian.
