  3. Beautifully read, and illuminated by my small knowing upper Threemile. The Poem and your comments take me back to those hoar frost winter scenes, that we share with all other creatures living along the 45th parallel north.

  4. This poem speaks to me about forgiveness. Hope is the flip side of regret, and it helps me forgive myself and look to the future, even when the cause for hope seems obscure. Somewhere, a bird who knows more about it than I do is confidently singing.

    1. Hello, I am sorry I did not see your thoughtful post. We have been having significant water problems at the farm. Broken main lines and a dead landline . Next door farmer has been helping us. I so appreciate your response to”the darkling thrush” thank you for taking the time to share.
