Does this suggest that women can bewitch and destroy unknowing/unmindful males?

  Well, that’s certainly one way to interpret the poem. The siren, the mermaid, the femme fatale. Deadly spider! So watch out and keep your wits around females with lovely voices….😊 for me the poem suggests I’d better pay attention to the big picture instead of being sucked under by scintillating details! I wish humans had better skill with this when it came to caring for our home!

I recall Greek myth Sirens as I listen to The Lorelei. Sirens in US warn of dangers to avoid… thanks for both language readings!
